On Saturday, November 1, 2003 Mike & Tanya flew from Newark to Las Vegas, returning the next Saturday, November 8.
On Sunday, November 2, we took a helicopter trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.
These are all 66 unedited pictures. All are taken from the helicopter except for 10 that were taken where we landed in the Grand Canyon for lunch.
You'll see the Strip as we take off from McCarran Airport and head east over the mountains. Next come Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. In the Grand Canyon you'll see pictures of some incredible cacti and Tanya with her boot (She broke her heel in September and got out of the cast just a couple days before departing for Vegas. We rented a wheelchair for her – it all worked out just fine). Leaving the Grand Canyon we headed west back to Vegas. You can see the Strip from a distance and finally an really neat shot of New York New York as we made our final approach back into McCarran.
